Out of the various types of events we film through out the year, Indian weddings are among our favorite to document because they are rich in unique customs and lots of joy and celebrating. Plus, you can always count on a gorgeous couple, too!
Ruchi and Trushar’s wedding overqualified in every sense! This wedding was such an amazing experience for us for many reasons. Firstly, we had the great opportunity to film the wedding in our Nation’s Captiol of Washington, D.C. In fact, one of my favorite parts of the day was during the groom’s procession (the Baraat) where Trushar lead a couple hundred guests down Constitution Avenue on horseback. I overheard some tourists saying that he looked like a prince! Using a city with so much American history as a backdrop to explosions of color and culture was unique and great to witness. This wedding was very special to us because anytime you can document amazing and good-hearted people whose families you are happy to see unite, it makes your job all the more sweeter. Ruchi and Trushar have a very strong connection with their families. Ruchi has an unshakeable bond with her sister and Trushar is incredibly close to his brother. It is these strong connections that make happy days (like their wedding day) more joyful, and also help Ruchi and Trushar get through during difficult times. Ruchi’s father, Dr. Jai, is the only living parent remaining between this couple, but the love and spirit from those who have passed was certainly felt through the night. We are sure that they couldn’t be prouder of the amazing people that Ruchi and Trushar have become.

We thank the Gupta’s and Dungarani’s for having us at this incredible event. It was truly unforgettable. Enjoy their highlight!
