It was such a pleasure traveling to Sausalito, CA for Jen and Chris’ wedding. It was a sensory experience all-round. The scenics were breathtaking, Jen and Chris are both from the Bay Area and could not have picked a more perfect place to celebrate their marriage. Chris’ sister and cousin played the piano and violin beautifully during their ceremony and the sweet smell of the Eucalyptus filled the air. Lastly, the food was amazing. Everything from the “Rehearsal BBQ” to the dinner on their wedding night was delicious (I had never tried beets before and discovered that I love them!). Food seems to be a big intersection in Jen and Chris’ relationship. Jen is a creative through-and-through while Chris, an analytical, process-driven thinker who works in finance finds his creativity in the kitchen. He forages for ingredients and creates delicious dishes while Jen styles and photographs the meal. This kind of teamwork has served them well in their 10-year relationship and will continue to do so for the rest of their lives. This was a real unique experience for their guests as well because many of them stayed at the hostel next door to the the Headlands Center for the Arts, where the wedding was held. This was an opportunity to have everyone in one place and enjoy each other’s company and the beautiful scenery throughout the wedding weekend. We thank Jen and Chris’ families for their kindness and hospitality as they prepared meals for us and treated us like family at the hostel. Enjoy the highlight!

We love filming Indian weddings. The colors, garments and many traditions are all beautiful and unique depending on the couple and the region of India that they come from. The visually stunning celebration is shared with several hundred of the bride and groom’s nearest and dearest that travel from afar to be a part of the multi-day event. For Sri and Vishnu, this was no exception. Assisted by the talented Jennifer Johnson of Jennifer J Events, Sri and Vishnu decided on a Valentine’s Day weekend wedding in sunny Palm Beach, Florida, helping them avoid the frigid temperature in their hometown of New York City. It turned out to be true blessing that they selected the legendary Breakers in Palm Beach for their nuptials, as during this particular weekend, the Northeast was hit by snowstorm so bad that it has its own Wikipedia page. The fact that so many people where able to make it to the wedding meant the world to Sri and Vishnu because their family values are what’s most important to them.

Despite the weather and travel complications, the journey to Florida was worth it in order to witness these two truly amazing people commit their lives to one another. Everybody loves Sri and Vishnu and it’s easy to see why. They’re laid-back, fun-loving and are philanthropic, giving back to their community through programs like SAYA!. So many people gave wonderful toasts during their Sangeet, telling stories about their kindness, integrity and how they’re absolutely perfect for one another. We are so thrilled to have met this great couple and hope you’re as inspired by their love as we are. Enjoy their highlight!

Christina and Evan are an incredibly bright, humble and authentic couple whose wedding day we had the honor of capturing this past Fall. Despite their youth, their love seems to have the wisdom of a 30-year relationship, and from our observations, this is probably because they complement each other so well. They have so much in common and share core values, yet they are so different. They have inquisitive minds and share an adventurous spirit that has brought them from a casual meeting during freshman orientation in college, to husband and wife 12 years later. Their wedding felt like an extension of who they are; authentic, loving people with timeless taste, who love to be surrounded by the ones they hold dear. Their love of nature was also evident in their choice of having a rehearsal dinner at a beautiful goat dairy farm and their appreciation of history and architecture was represented in their historic ceremony space. This was truly emotional piece for us to work on. In addition to their beautifully intimate vows, their reception was filled with moving speeches that indicate how incredibly loved they are by their family and friends. Overall, it was a pleasure and an inspiration to tell the story of Christina and Evan’s new chapter in life. We wish them a lifetime of love, happiness and success.
